Do you go to a hand raising church? I do.
Visitors are sometimes left feeling awkward, when their pew partners make them feel like the church is being robbed. (Either that or they feel overly welcomed that everyone keeps waving at them.)
For sometime, I've wanted to write a post about the different styles of hand raising in churches. But to be honest, I can't do it better than two people who already have.
The first link is a blog post by Jon Acuff about the different styles. The second link is a YouTube clip that was recommended by a friend who loves Tim Hawkins. And what's not to love about Tim Hawkins?

Tim Hawkins-Tim Hawkins on Hand Raising
I'm not sure what your feelings about raising your hands in worship are, but Clayton King said something to me once that totally changed my view on it. He said something to the effect of, "Nowhere in the Bible are we told not to lift our hands in worship. But we are commanded throughout Scripture to lift our hands."
Makes you think, doesn't it?
Question:
What's your style of hand raising?
