One Man Wrote the Entire Bible

Did you hear about the man from New York who wrote out the entire Bible?

Take that Bible Belt believers!

What's better than saying you've read the entire Bible? Saying that you have written the entire Bible. He just one upped Moses and Paul. Sure they wrote a lot of the Bible, but this guy wrote the entire Bible.

How long did it take him? Only four years of writing 14 hours a day. Poor guy could have typed it faster using Sacramento or Emily's Candy font. God would have loved that. God likes creative fonts. (I'm sure it's in the Bible somewhere.)

In the article (click for the full article), he said that he wasn't writing as a spiritual quest, but to learn more about the Bible. But the task produced something in his life. He said that he became more "patient, confident, and loving."

The article never states whether he is a Christian or not. But one thing is for certain, if you spend time reading (or writing) the Bible, it will have an effect on you. It's not the paper, the ink, the faux leather, the fact that your grandmother gave it to you, the smell, the translation, or anything mysterious about the book.

It's plain and simple.

It's the words that God has spoken to humanity that will stir something inside of you.

One cannot read God's words and remain neutral. It has to create some sort of reaction, whether it is positive or negative.

What do you think? Can one study the Bible without experiencing some kind of reaction?
