Only 181 Days Left

Did you realize that over half of 2013 is over?

When does a New Year just become another year?

It's like when a radio station takes the handle of being the "new" whatever. When are they no longer new?

They say they are new for like two years.

Or at least that's what happened to my beloved Christian radio station in college. It was 101.1 the "New" One. It had risen all the way to preset #1 in my 1991 Jeep Cherokee.

Imagine, my surprise when I was riding down the road ready to hear Plus One (does anyone remember them) or FFH only to hear "I'm a low rider you don't want to [pause] with me." The 101.1 the New One was blacked out over night and replaced by 101.1 the Beat Jamz.

I was too lazy to change the preset button on my radio and so began my love affair with rap. That's just how I roll.

However, thanks to Pandora, the radio is ruined for me. Now when I'm driving down the road, I often find myself turning off the radio. Because nothing can live up to the standards that Pandora has set.

Sorry, to go all cat-like in a butterfly garden on you. Let me refocus.

Half of this year's days have been marked off of the calendar. How is your progress coming with your goals? Do you still remember them?

One goal I set was to post over 208 times in 2013. This is my 110th post. So I'm well on my way to completing that goal. As for my other goals? They are difficult to measure. (9 Better New Year's Resolutions.)

It's difficult to achieve your goals. You have to grind them out. If it were easy, they wouldn't be goals. They just would be.

You still can achieve your goals with a little less than half of your days left in 2013. If you are off track, get back to it and grind them out.

Question:
How are you coming along with your goals this year?
