What's Up with Noah and Bibles?

Why is "Noah and the Ark" the go-to cover for children's Bibles? Seriously, it's like on every single little kids' Bible ever! And it's like one of the least child friendly stories there are!

 

The awesomeness in this one is found in Noah releasing the dove.

This one is just confusing. You know the wild bears are ticked that they aren't highly evolved like the Berenstain Bears.

What's a better cover for a children's Bible? Perhaps David holding Goliath's head?
