Talking Walls

Our bedroom is completely empty for the upcoming move. Last night, I sat in our bedroom and it was as if the four walls started talking. I became overwhelmed by how seven years breezed by. I blinked my eyes and they were gone! (A tad bit depressing?)

Perhaps that's why one of the wisest things we can do is take advice from the Psalmist.

O Lord, make me know my end

and what is the measure of my days;

let me know how fleeting I am!

Psalm 39:4

So teach us to number our days

that we may get a heart of wisdom. 

Psalm 90:12
