Noah and Russell Crowe

Doesn't that movie trailer get you excited?

Like, it's-summer-time-and-VBS-is-about-to-start excited?

Sure Hollywood is going to put their flair to it. And they might even ruin it. But you have to give them credit, when they read the Bible, they get creative.

Often we read the Bible stalely. Void of any feelings or thoughts about what it must have been like.

We clean it up as we read. We make a rated-R story PG.

So let's give Hollywood a chance with this flick.

Also, Russell Crowe is a spot on pick for Noah.

Here's five reasons why Russell Crowe will make a great Noah:

1) It's his turn to do a movie that Christians like. He passed over the Lord of the Rings. And he was passed over in The Chronicles of Narnia as Aslan.

2) He's musical. Many critics didn't like him in Les Miserable. Which was surprisingly the role he was supposed to play. He has had a few bands. One was called Russ Le Roq. Then, he formed a band called, The Ordinary Fear of God. What's ordinary about that?

3) He befriends Republican politicians. Seriously, what movie star does that?

4) He was once ranked #97 on VH1's 100 Hottest Hotties. That's good looking, but not so good looking that the women lust. Ironically, Noah was once ranked in the top four hottest hotties on earth.

5) He is said to have a "fiery temper". Mix that with his "gravelly, smoke-burnished voice" and you have yourself a Noah. Noah had to sound manly. You can't tame a tiger without a manly combo like that.

Are you excited about the movie Noah? What do you think?

Hours of research on www.IMBD.com was completed for this post.
