Sweet Potato Casserole

Every year on Thanksgiving, I try sweet potato casserole. Every year I hate it.

The sweet potato casserole has to be the Judas of the food world. It looks like it belongs, but looks can be deceiving. The stuff is nasty and is basically garnish like that leaf Ponderosa used to put next your steak. What was that called?

So I'll put sweet potato casserole on my plate for decor. Martha Stewart would be proud.

What are your necessities for a Thanksgiving meal?

My necessities for a Thanksgiving meal are turkey legs, dressing (has to be moist), and mashed potatoes all three topped with giblet gravy and pumpkin pie for desert. However, according to this dude, turkeys, Pilgrims, and Indians would have to disagree with me.

Happy Thanksgiving! I'll have another post up in a little while this afternoon.
